What is a record label? Record labels are companies that produce, distribute and promote the songs and content that artists create. What’s the different between big labels and independent labels? The ‘big four’ record labels; EMI, SONY, UNIVERSAL and WARNER are major conglomerates. This means that they own and profit off of many other smaller labels, for example: Columbia Records and Capitol.  Inspiration  The inspiration for the latin part of my song: This is the inspiration for the metal part i want to incorporate into my song: Musical Elements Latin: slow tempo soft spoken vocals verse-chorus-verse structure clean guitar sound piano chord harmony traditional instrumentation - trumpets, violins, cowbell, bongos heavy group harmony on vocals lots of bridges major tonality lyrics about love and positivity Metal: heavily distorted guitars screamed, aggressive vocals fast tempo power chords verse-chorus-verse structure repeated riffs negative lyrics about drugs and sometimes rebellion powerful rhythm ideas for structure: Regarding structure, i would like to start my fusion with a purely latin section. Using EQ in logic

  EQ is is a way to edit frequencies within a chosen track to get your desired sound. It can also balance out the dynamics of clashing instrumentation.  I utilised the parametric EQ in logic to tweak my instrument, turning down the frequencies to stay between 200 to 1K Hz to get a less snappy and smooth sounding piano chord.
